Permille Symbol (‰)

The permille symbol looks like a percent sign with one extra zero. It represents per-thousand values and is used in finance, slopes, salinity, and concentration reporting.

How To Type Permille On macOS

  1. Press Control + Command + Space to open Character Viewer.
  2. Search for permille or per mille.
  3. Double-click to insert it.

Advanced option: enable Unicode Hex Input keyboard and type Option + 2030.
